Name:Satsuki
You could call her Shippou's first love. They met while the Yasha gang was passing through her town, and he suspected that she had a Shikon shard, but it turned out to be fake. She thought that it would bring back her long-gone older brother, who died in the wars. A lizard demon tried to take the Yasha's gangs shards using Satsuki's love for her older brother, but Shippou and Inuyasha easily beat down the stupid youkai before any serious damage was done. In the end, Satsuki went to live with the village leader, and Shippou moved on.

Name:Sayo
The young girl that witnessed Kikyou "communing" with her Shinidama Chuu [Soul-Stealing Demons], which help Kikyou keep up the amount of dead souls inside her bones and clay body. She liked Kikyou a lot, but seeing Kikyou controlling youkai made her afraid of her. Though Kikyou apologized for scaring her, she left the village anyway.

Name:Seikai
The monk who knew that Kikyou "wasn't right." He tried to save her soul since he found out that she was already dead and trying to be amongst the living, but Kikyou was too strong for him, and she killed him, which scared the heck out of Seikai's apprentice (see the man to the left). He was the monk that the Yasha gang found later--he told the gang what Kikyou had been doing.

Name:Serina and Suzuna
These two girls wished to become demon exterminators by learning from Sango, but they were too impatient to return to their village with something better than the fairly-easy technique Sango taught them (the only thing she decided she would teach them), and got themselves into trouble. Thankfully, Sango and the Yasha gang saved them from their own stupidity.

Name:Shakujou
This is generally a normal monk's staff, but when it comes to being Miroku's staff, this thing packs a big punch. It has a lot of holy powers, and Miroku is sure to use all of them. He does use it to smack people on the head, though...

Name:Shibu Karasu
Literally meaning "crows that make corpses dance," this crow demon is the bane of Inuyasha's life. When it stole the Shikon no Tama, Kagome and Inuyasha went after it, and the only way Kagome could hit it with her bow and arrow at the time was to attach its foot to the arrow (acting like magnet due to a property of the Shikon no Tama). That arrow busted the Shikon no Tama into bits and pieces, thus starting Inuyasha and Kagome's search!

Name:Shinidama Chuu
These are the "Soul-Snatching" demons that Kikyou controls. They catch the souls of those who have died before they can go to wherever it is that souls go after a person dies (or just outright takes it before the person dies), and bring it to Kikyou so that she can keep her clay body going. This power is similar to Kanna's power, which uses a mirror to extract people's souls so that she can make them do whatever she wants them to.

Name:Shiori
Shiori is a half-demon. Her mother is a human, and her father (Tsukyoumaru) is a bat demon. Shiori's father's tribe was violent and constantly attacked the nearby human village. Her father (as did his father before him) had the ability to create an extremely powerful barrier that no one could penetrate, making attacks on the bat tribe suicide. Her father, after falling in love with Shiori's mother, threatened to no longer make the barrier for the tribe if they didn't stop attacking the village. Shiori's grandfather killed his own son, and continued to attack the tribe until Shiori's mother agreed to give him Shiori to create the barrier. The Yasha gang came there to slay whichever demon was creating the barrier in order to make Tessaiga stronger, but Inuyasha ended up killing Shiori's grandfather in revenge for what he did to Shiori and her mother. Shiori, though, let him have her power anyway. Now her mom and she (with the spirit of the father looking after them) live peacefully.

Name:Shiori's Parents
Shiori's mother fell in love with a bat youkai, Tsukyoumaru, and together they had Shiori. To read more about their story, see above within Shiori's description.

Name:Shouga
This poor female flea has been lead on by Myouga for years, and she wants nothing more than to be married to him. He likes the bachelor lifestyle, though, and even when the Yasha gang tried to force him to marry her after she spent the night possessing three of them in an attempt to catch Myouga, he skipped out on the wedding anyway. Little Jerk!
