Name: Rouba no Haraiya
Her real name isn't known, but she's referred to as the "Old Exorcist Woman." A retired demon slayer (supposedly), the Yasha gang catch up to her in an episode where they must find and eliminate the source of a great amount of jaki [evil energy]. She is able to direct them to a local castle where the lord is acting strangely, killing any servants who come near. She didn't really have any holy powers and couldn't sense jaki like the rest of the Yasha gang, but she did save Miroku's life. | |

Name: Rouyakan
A wolf demon native to the area where Kaede lives. He is usually a gentle demon who protects the forest. In one episode, Naraku forced Shikon shards upon him, and sent him after Inuyasha. He had the ability (with the shard) to "spit" out as many summoned hellhounds as he wanted, which was hard for the Yasha gang to fight off. When Kagome returned to feudal Japan after Inuyasha had tried to kick her out, he suddenly could fight better, and knocked Rouyakan out by shoving a tree down his throat. Kagome later took out the shards, much to Rouyakan's relief.

Name: Ruri
Ruri is a minion of the first movie's main antagonist, Menoumaru. She had the ability to morph into other people. Destined to be Miroku's advisary, she morphed her arm into his as he was trying to use his Kazaana [Air Void] to save Sango from scorpions, and copied his Kazaana. Not knowing much about the power, though, she tried to make it more powerful later by widening it with a knife, and got herself sucked in. I bet Miroku was a little shocked to see that, knowing it might happen to him someday.

Name: Ryoushu no Hime (Feudal Princess)
A very small part, this girl was the princess of the rich household that the hellish painter [Eshi] wanted to have for his wife--she stopped the palace guards from beating him to death for lying about his credentials when he tried to get a position in the household. Miroku protected her from the painter's drawings at one point, but she was otherwise unimportant to the plot.

Name: Ryuukossei
Ryuukossei was the rival of Inuyasha's father. During what would be their last battle, Ryuukossei mortally wounded Inuyasha's father, but the father managed to seal Ryuukossei before he died. Many years later, when Inuyasha came to kill Ryuukossei in order to surpass his father, which would make his inherited sword, Tessaiga, light enough for him to handle, Ryuukossei was unsealed (by Naraku) before Inuyasha could cut his heart out. Inuyasha defeated him anyway, and also learned Tessaiga's ultimate attack, Baku Ryu-ha [Grand Sword Style].

Name: Saimyoushou
These are evil bees manufactured by Naraku to keep Miroku from using his Kazaana without getting stung (and possible dying). They also serve as Naraku's spies.

Name: Sakasagumi no Yura
A hair demon, she was born from a comb that was used to comb the hair of dead people while preparing for a funeral. She used hair to control people's bodies, and even cut things. She was the first demon that Inuyasha and Kagome defeated together. Kagome ultimately beat her by smashing the head open of a red skull that contained the original comb, and breaking it in half with one of her Hamaya [Purity Arrows].

Name: Sanbiki no Sarusei
These are the three monkey spirits (that's what the title literally translates to). They are servants to Sarugami-sama, the Monkey God. When the Yasha gang meets them, they have been literally tearing up the fields of a local village looking for their master. His spirit rests in a shrine relic when it resides at a shrine, but the relic went missing, and the three monkey spirits had a hard time figuring out the mental messages that their master was sending them. The Yasha gang, though, helps them locate the missing Monkey God, and all is well in the end!

Name:Sarugami-sama
He is the Monkey God (that's what his name literally translates to). The Yasha gang first meet his servants, Sanbiki no Sarusei [Three Monkey Spirits], who are desperately searching for the shrine relic in which their master has resided and resultantly disappeared in! It turns out that the shrine relic is being used as a pickling stone in the nearby village, and once the god is released, he is able to help the Yasha gang in their search for Naraku.

Name:Satoru
The younger brother of Mayu, who survived the fire in their apartment. He's a friend of Souta, so that's how Kagome came to meet him and see the connection between Mayu and Satoru's dead older sister. (See Mayu for more information.)
