Minor characters of Inuyasha

Kamakiri

Name: Kamakiri

A Praying Mantis demon who posed as a human female to lure Miroku away from the Yasha gang. She tells him a story about being an orphaned princess, and asks him to marry her to give her a good name. Miroku goes to hug her, but she reveals her demon form, and Miroku defeats her easily. However, as she's being sucked into his Kazaana, her claws slice into the sides of the void...ouch. Miroku is forced to see Mushin for help repairing the damage.

Karan

Name: Karan

Karan appears in the Cat Arc of the anime series, which is not in the manga. She's one of four siblings trying to resurrect the leader of the Cat Family. Her powers include being able to cast and control fire, and her three other siblings are Shuuran, Shunran, and Touran.

Kijo Urasue

Name: Kijo Urasue

Urasue stole Kikyou's bones and the dirt from her grave, and made a body using these ingredients. She tried to use her magic to draw Kikyou's soul into the body so that she could command Kikyou to gather the Shikon shards for her. Kikyou's soul, however, had been reincarnated in Kagome, so Urasue kidnapped Kagome! She misjudged Kikyou, though, and once Kikyou forcefully brought out Kagome's soul and took it into her clay body, Kikyou killed Urasue. Note: Urasue manages to say later that her magic wasn't strong enough to keep Kagome from taking her soul back.

Koharu

Name: Koharu

This is the girl that Miroku met when she was eleven-years-old. He had asked her even then if she would bear his child. Eh... ^_^;; Later, when she's fourteen, Miroku and the Yasha gang meet her again. Kanna uses Koharu as a means to attack the Yasha gang when they stay with her for a night. Miroku obviously has no intentions towards her now that he's mooning over Sango, but he still cares about Koharu. The Yasha gang save the poor girl, and they leave the next day, with poor Koharu thinking that Miroku will be back for her someday in order to bear his children.

Koume

Koume

This young girl had befriended a two-tailed cat named Kuroro, but Kuroro had been banished from Koume's village by the villagers who believed the lies of a fake shaman named Tesso, who turned out to be a rat demon. The Yasha gang came to her village, found out the truth behind Tesso, and defeated him. Koume worked most closely with Shippou during her ordeal.

Kouryuu

Name:Kouryuu

This cute little red dragon is the minion of Souten, the only living relative of Hiten and Manten. He helps Souten with her strange schemes to exact revenge on the Yasha gang, but I personally think he wonders to himself, "Why am I taking some kid's orders?"

Kumo Gashira

Name:Kumo Gashira

In the hopes of drawing out a half-demon with Shikon shards, Kumo Gashira [Spider Boss] and his minions terrorized the local villages. In his human monk form, he took in Nazuna, who lost her parents in the raids. When she met the Yasha gang, she invited them to stay at the temple with her "monk savior" (oops). Inuyasha was in his human state that night, too, but the Yasha gang managed to survive the night. The next morning, Inuyasha taught him a lesson.

Kuroro

Name:Kuroro

This two-tailed cat is of a similar breed to the show's Kirara, but her fighting powers aren't nearly as strong as Kirara, and she cannot grow bigger. The Yasha gang happen upon Kuroro's village, where they find that the villagers were tricked into banishing the guardian cat by a fake shaman by the name of Tesso, who turned out to be a large rat demon. Kuroro had befriended the village children, and the child that adored her most was Koume. The Yasha gang help defeat Tesso and restore order to the village.

Kyoukotsu

Kyoukotsu

This member of the Shichinintai [Seven-Man Group] was the first to intercept any of the protagonists...and he was the first to die! Kyoukotsu met up with Kouga, and since he is all muscle and no speed, Kouga kicked his butt pretty good. He even turned Kyoukotsu's head upside down (imagine a really broken neck). Kyoukotsu is undead, though, so he didn't die from that, but Kouga didn't take long in defeating him. However, one of Naraku's saimyoushou [Hell's Insects] took the Shikon shard from Kyoukotsu's neck before Kouga's could get his hands on it.

Manten

Manten

A thunder demon, Manten is the younger brother of Hiten. He had a huge mental issue with the lack of hair on his head. His mother and father were of different demonic types--Manten took after their mother--meaning, even with hair, he'd be really ugly. However, Manten thought his lack of hair was the only reason why he wasn't popular with the girls. Inuyasha killed Manten with Tessaiga while Manten was trying to kill Kagome.
